Colorado CASA Awards Banquet

Each year, the CASA in Colorado awards are a wonderful way to celebrate the hard work and commitment of people who are making a significant difference in the lives of Colorado’s abused and neglected children. This year’s Awards Banquet is on Friday, October 19th at the Doubletree Denver North (8773 Yates Drive in Westminster) at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are only $45 per person and $400 for a table of 10. Please join us as we  celebrate the  winners of this year’s CASA in Colorado Awards.

More than half a million children in this country are in the foster care system where the vast majority will spend at least two years. In Colorado, in 2006, more than 10,000 children were thrust into the child welfare system because they were not safe or well-cared for in their own homes. These children are not able to look for security or guidance from their families and need other caring and stable adults to help look after them. The child welfare system is made up of hundreds of people dedicated to helping these victims of child abuse and neglect avoid the traps and downfalls that could haunt them throughout their lives. The CASA Network in Colorado is proud to be a part of that system helping children to overcome these obstacles and go on to lead happy successful lives. Please join us in celebrating these dedicated individuals and organizations.
