Become a CASA Volunteer

Step Up! Help Out!

The 16 local nonprofit CASA agencies in Colorado serve children in 34 counties. CASA volunteers work one-on-one with abused children, gathering information and presenting it in an objective report to the court.

Serious questions must be answered: whether a child can return to a formerly abusive environment or whether the rights of the parent(s) will be terminated with the child then available for adoption.

CASA volunteers must be 21 years of age. No special or legal background is required. Volunteers, chosen for their objectivity, competence and commitment, are screened and trained by the local CASA agencies. Call or email Colorado CASA for referral to your local CASA agency: (303) 623-5380 or coloradocasa@coloradocasa.org.

Become a Friend of Colorado CASA

Friends of Colorado CASA is an informal group open to people willing to lend time and expertise to activities sponsored by Colorado CASA or Court Appointed Special Advocates. Activities include: Annual Light of Hope Breakfast, Statewide Training Conference and Pre-Conference Reception, Legislative Reception and other events as needed. Call or email Colorado CASA: (303) 623-5380 or coloradocasa@coloradocasa.org.
