Volunteer Spotlight: Alisha Dopkin

Alisha Dopkin, Northwest Rocky Mountain CASA of the Year

Alisha Dopkin was recognized the Northwest Rocky Mountain CASA Volunteer of the Year at the annual Dancing with the Stars event on April 12th. Alisha lives by one belief: “be fierce.” Her relentless enthusiasm and commitment to give 100% to everything she does was exemplified in the way Alisha navigated her second CASA case. With both professional expertise and personal dedication, she navigated an incredibly complex case, ensuring that every decision and action prioritized the children’s best interests. From the very start, Alisha made it clear—she was all in for these kids, no matter how challenging the road ahead. Leveraging her strategic mapping skills, Alisha took a broad view of the case, identifying critical pain points and presenting them to the judge. Her ability to analyze situations, advocate effectively, and drive solutions played a pivotal role in securing permanency for the children. Beyond her strategic skills, Alisha’s genuine compassion and unwavering commitment earned the trust of not only the children but also the court and all other parties involved. By the end of the case, she had become the leader — a trusted expert in finding solutions for permanency. The children she advocated for are now in a loving, permanent home—a reality that would not have been possible without her fierce commitment. Thank you, Alisha, for being an unstoppable force for children in need!
