Volunteer Spotlight: Cate Cavanaugh

Our wonderful volunteer to highlight this month is Cate Cavanaugh. Cate has been a volunteer on D&N cases, is one of our amazing volunteer mentors, and is now starting a truancy case. In her world outside of CASA Cate is a nurse in Summit County.

Although the child in her most recent D&N case had a host of very difficult circumstances, Cate was able to meet this youth where they were without judgement. She truly was a safe and supportive adult for this youth at times when they may have felt quite alone. Thank you Cate for your child advocacy as well as support of other volunteers and your overall kindness!

As you can see from the picture, Cate enjoys what our mountains have to offer!
